Stability and Comfort

The Sea Turtle is a 36' BHM downeast style boat. She is powered by a single 450 horsepower Cummins diesel engine, allowing a 16 knot cruising speed. Built and used originally for lobstering on Long Island sound. Captain Wade purchased and customized the boat for wreck and shark cage diving in 2002. The large cockpit area is fitted with a custom gear donning bench, with adequate room for 6 divers. With an open stern design, divers can easily enter and exit the cage without swimming. The cockpit is also equipped with a fresh water washdown and coolers with ice for your food and drinks. The cabin area is clean and dry. The main cabin has seating for everyone and is equipped with satellite radio and a cell phone/camera charging area. The lower cabin area (v-berth) has memory foam bunks and a private bathroom. The Sea Turtle is also equipped with state of the art electronics follows all the USCG safety gear requirements and regulations.

Speed and Flexibility

Taxi Diver is a fast, high-performance vessel designed for offshore use with a deep-vee hull and climate contolled cabin. Cruising comfortably at 30 knots, we can get farther offshore and closer to the gulf stream for cleaner, blue water and a wider variety of marine life. Diving off the Axopar boat is snorkeling, free diving and recreational scuba. Available for private charter groups up to four people, allowing ample room and a very personalized experience. The cabin has seating for everyone and a private enclosed bathroom. Coolers onboard with ice, satellite radio, fresh water shower, bean bag chairs and custom dive ladder all make a day offshore fun and enjoyable. The vessel is also equipped with the required safety gear and follows USCG regulations.
